Yes. All new dogs complete a Daycare Behaviour Assessment before entering daycare. This helps us understand your dog’s behaviour, social preferences, handling responses, arousal and ability to cope within the daycare environment.

If daycare appears suitable, your dog begins a gradual transition into daycare. Depending on their age, experience and behavioural responses, this may progress from a short trial session through longer sessions, then to half-day and eventually full-day attendance where appropriate.

No. We want dogs to build positive experiences rather than simply tolerate a long day. The amount of time your dog spends in daycare is increased according to how well they are coping, regulating and recovering within the environment.

Daycare is not the right environment for every dog, and that is okay. If we believe your dog is struggling or that daycare may negatively affect their welfare, we will discuss this with you and recommend a more appropriate pathway where possible.

Daycare includes a combination of appropriate social interaction, structured play, enrichment, training opportunities, rest and downtime. Dogs are monitored throughout the day and activities are adjusted according to their individual needs and level of arousal.

Yes. Rest and opportunities to disengage are an important part of the daycare day. Our aim is not to keep dogs continuously playing; we actively manage arousal and provide quieter periods and spaces when dogs need them.

Our Puppy Classes are designed for puppies approximately 6–16 weeks of age, focusing on early learning, confidence, communication and positive experiences during this important developmental period.
