The Facility
Our Doggy Daycare and Training Facility is designed to fulfil the five domains dogs needs, interaction, exercise, engaging in social interactions, general enrichment and mental stimulation! We strive to promote physical, emotional and cognitive health to ensure the welfare of dogs living in a domestic environment.
The facility is designed to capture the outside world, through scent stations, multitype surfaces, unique sounds and tastes.
Scent Stations
our dog experiences the world through his nose, so we’ve designed specialised scent stations to take your pooch on a journey with smells! We change our scent stations up on a regular basis to make sure your dog always has new smells to discover.
Sound Engagement
As humans we know that sounds elicit emotions, our favourite song can pump us up to start the day, while bird song tends to relax and regenerate our mood. Dogs are no different. Our facility has sound stations that play different noses for your pup, from classical music to relax, rainforest animals to the African savanna and even the mundane sound of a busy street. Sound engagement is fun for dogs but also helps to desensitize them to new sound experiences. Sounds also help to relax dog’s , in our chill out zones.
Multi-Surfaces
You might not give much thought to the surface your dog walks on, but your dog’s paws are very sensitive to new touch experiences. We use multi-surface as a mental stimulation technique, while also helping your dog to become familiar with the different surfaces they are likely to experience as they walk alongside us in our daily life.
Taste Games
Our trainers love to play one on one with your pooch. We have a range of taste games designed to further enrich your dogs time with us. Has your dog ever tasted a cucumber? What about the delicious chunker? Using taste for enrichment and training allows your dog tantalising new sensations and discovering new flavours while creating positive associations.
Senses Engaged!
The facility is designed to trigger all neurons and senses in the dog! Tactile, auditory, visual, taste, olfactory! Or as we call it taste, sounds, visual, touch, and smell! Your dogs will have their ears alert, nose to the ground, licking enrichment, paws on numerous surfaces, or looking for the next challenge in the facility!
